Welcome to my site about the small Wiltshire village of Tisbury. It's where my mum grew up, so I thought I'd put a bit about it on the website. If you're from Tisbury, or you lived there in the late 40's or 50's, and you remember Sheila Phelps, please either e-mail me (they lived at 'The Bungalow', and later at West Hatch), or fill in the guest book - Thanks!
At the moment, there's not a lot of content on the site - Clicking on the various links below will take you to assorted pictures, and other information sources. I'll add additional content as and when. Don't forget to check back.

There's
a book available on the history of the village, including reminiscences from
locals. You can get more information on it by e-mailing wrangle@mail.vicnet.net.au.
If you're in the UK, don't forget to mention it, as the book is actually published
by Fiona Drury's (she's the target of the e-mail, and she lives in Australia)
mum, Jill, who lives in the village - so Fiona will quote the price including
airmail, which if you're in the UK, you obviously don't need! You can also find
out more by clicking on the book cover, which takes you to a page containing
extracts from it.UK residents can also find out more about the book by emailing Fiona's brother
And
really finally, there's also a city in Massachusetts, USA, called West Tisbury.
Read a bit about the early history of THAT town, and its links with Tisbury,
Wilts by clicking on the graphic at the left.
click here for a link to Multimap, which will give you a 1:100000 map of the
Tisbury area, which you can zoom in and out. Click HERE
for a street map of the village (also zoomable - also from MultiMap)
